پودر گیلسونایت تا ۱۰۰–۲۰۰ مش آسیاب و طبقه‌بندی هوایی می‌شود. این پرکاربردترین شکل گیلسونایت است و برای گل حفاری، دوغاب سیمان، اصلاح آسفالت، ماسه ریخته‌گری و بسیاری از فرمولاسیون‌های صنعتی مناسب است.
