Gilsonite Pavement Sealer: A Complete Guide

Gilsonite-based pavement sealers are used to protect and renew asphalt surfaces such as parking lots, driveways and airport pavements.

What a gilsonite sealer does

Why seal asphalt at all?

Sun, oxygen and water slowly harden the binder at the surface of asphalt. The surface turns grey, fine aggregate starts to ravel and small cracks appear. A sealer replaces lost binder at the surface, closes fine voids and slows further ageing.
